  • Learn about best practices from dynamic guest speakers
  • Hear about the Chapter and News from USGBC-REC president, Prudence Ferreira

Cindy SakaiCindy Sakai of TH!NK, LLC is the September featured speaker.

The key to success in any business is not how much you know or how good your product is but rather how you make people feel when they are interacting with you.  Whether your goal is to make the sale, build trust with others or get people to take action, it must start with a successful connection!

Creating successful connections and then building solid relationships is all about being PEOPLE SMART! Learn to be People Smart and:

  • Understand why people do the things they do
  • Recognize an individual's communication preferences
  • Understand how people like to be treated based on their natural behavioral styles
  • Be able to read your customer’s buying style
  • Understand how to adapt to your customer’s buying style
  • Know what motivates each person you interact with
  • Understand what makes people tick
  • Understand what makes different types of people jump into action & perform.

In this session, you’ll learn about the DiSC behavioral styles, the first step to enhancing your PEOPLE SMARTS!

  • Understand the DiSC styles of Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness
  • Discover how all styles have their own set of strengths and communication preferences
  • Get insight into your own DiSC style
  • Get insight on how to “people-read” the DiSC styles of others
