The Ash Creek Conservation Association is a non-profit grassroots organization whose mission is to protect the Ash Creek tidal estuary. Our objectives include educating our members and the public on the Ash Creek watershed and the value of Ash Creek's tidal estuary as a one of the few remaining mudflat stopover sites for migratory shorebirds, some of whom, like the Red Knot in this film, travel from the Arctic Circle to Chile.
Our Ash Creek Fall Event, consists of a Social Hour followed by a showing of the Nature film "Crash: A Tale of Two Species" and a Q&A by renowned horseshoe crab expert, Professor Mark Beekley, director of Project Limulus.
