As an independent film & television producer with more than 15 years in the entertainment industry, Khadijah has worked with the likes of Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, as well as many other award-winning writers, producers, and directors. She was featured in a 2011 Associated Press article “Up-and-Coming Writers and Producers in the Los Angeles Area.” She formed her own production company, Muslimah Movies, to focus on telling the real story of who Muslims truly are. As a faculty member at the Savannah College of Art and Design, she taught classes in Film and TV Producing. She returned to Mississippi to help develop and contribute to the growing media industry in the state.

• Holds a Master’s Degree in Motion Picture Producing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish.
• Co-Coordinated a fundraiser for former President Barack Obama, hosted by Will and Jada Pinkett, featuring Michelle Obama. Khadijah was personally acknowledged for helping the event exceed the amount raised by any seated First Lady in the U.S history. 
• Selected as one of 22 delegates to participate in the first Muslim Women’s Leadership Training program, hosted by the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates. 
• She also works as a Consultant for the Islamic Thought Institute under the International Museum of Muslim Cultures.
