Join NAMI-NYS for a lovely evening as we work to create a brighter day for people and families touched by mental illness. This unique event taking place at Glennpeter Jewelers will allow attendees to learn more about the realities of mental illness as well as  participate in a Chinese raffle (for a chance to win prizes from throughout the Capital Region), a silent auction  and wine and dine all to benefit NAMI-NYS.

There will be complimentary food and all bar and raffle ticket proceeds will benefit NAMI-NYS.

NAMI-NYS is thrilled to welcome Elizabeth Tiglao-Guss to tell her inspriring story of recovery and Albany's Primere Blue-Grass Trio Grassroots Rebels to Play the Event

Elizabeth Tiglao-Guss' amazing story of recovery from serious depression and anxiety led her to start Link of Hearts, a jewlery business specializing in hopeful messages desinged to help people recover from mental health issues. For every piece purchased, Elizabeth donates one of the same pieces to someone with a mental illness. Click here to learn more about Elizabeth and Link of Hearts.

The Grassroots Rebels play modern acoustic good-time blue-grass music. We are excited to add the new element of live music to the event.

The Event Will Also Feature:

  • A program which will include people and families detailing  how mental illness has impacted their lives and how they have worked towards recovery and a brighter day.  NAMI-NYS will also explain how we help educate and support those touched by mental illness and guide them towards a brighter day.
  • 100% of all raffle and bar sales will be donated to NAMI-NYS.
  • Information about the NAMI-NYS Ribbon Awareness Campaign and our upcoming NAMI Walks
  • Purchase Vicki Moorehead's book "The Raw Truth" and have it signed with partial proceeds benefiting NAMI-NYS.
