About the JWA:

The JWA is a long-standing institution in Hong Kong, born out of the need to help those in our community.
This year, the JWA celebrates its 69^th year of service to the Hong Kong and Israeli communities focusing on the needs of women and children.  We strongly believe in challenging ourselves, and the community around us, to make a difference in the lives of women and children who are in need.

Beneficiaries:

Our beneficiaries last year included Hayim Organization for children with cancer, One in Nine helping women cope with breast cancer, The Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation by funding a full time nurse in a low income area of Hong Kong, Tlalim e-learning platform for disabled children, WIZO by refurbishing a bomb shelter in a shelter for battered women in Ashdod, and Nirim for supporting female youth at risk in Haifa.

About the Annual Gala Event:

The JWA Annual Gala has been a key event for the Jewish Community in Hong Kong for many decades. In addition to being a community event that brings all  members of our community together regardless of affiliation, it is The JWA's premier fundraising event of the year. 

We hope you will support the JWA in the very important work we do by generously donating to our brochure, attending the event and inviting friends to attend.
