HPWA Nest Box Building Workshop
Please join us for HPWA's first-ever Screech Owl and Bluebird nest box building workshop. All wood parts will be precut for you from rough-sawn wood. Tools and fasteners will be available for you to assemble on the spot or to take home. Species habits and box placement advice will be dispensed. Assemble one or more boxes and install them to improve your backyard habitat. Learn more about citizen science, watershed stewardship, and be part of the state-wide project, HOOT! An optional 1-hour walking tour of the impressive cranberry bog restoration site, the future Mass Audubon Tidmarsh Wildlife Sanctuary, will follow!
