MANS 2019 Public Policy Day

The MANS 2019 Public Policy Day will be held on March 14, 2019. Join your colleagues from across the state, interact with policymakers in Lansing, and get the latest information on educational policy issues impacting faith-based schools.

Legislative Briefing and Visits
We will begin the day with coffee and a legislative briefing at St. Mary Cathedral Parish Hall. Building on our highly successful visits, participants will then travel across the street  to visit key legislators and their staff advocating for policies favorable to non-public schools and sharing the value of a faith-based education. We will then meet in the Capitol rotunda for lunch and networking and be welcomed by the Speaker of the House, Lee Chatfield.

Policy Discussions
After lunch, participants will walk back to St. Mary Cathedral Parish Hall for an afternoon featuring critical discussions on policy issues facing schools today. Topics include Special Education, Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Title IV, and more.

Parking
Parking is available at several lots in downtown Lansing. Please click here for complete parking information.

We recommend either the North Capitol Ramp at 316 N. Capitol Avenue or the North Grand Ramp at 219 N. Grand Avenue, alternate parking suggestion is the Townsend Ramp.
