Part 4: Broken- Hearted Parents: Strategies for opening the Door to Parental Vulnerabilty 

In Parts 2 and 3 we discussed how to address and understand parents’ attachment histories and ways to help them be more mindful when they are triggered by their child’s behaviors.  Part 4, explores techniques to address and shift parents when they lack insight into their own vulnerability factors.  Hurt parents tend to struggle with the multitude of stressful factors that affect how they react, instead of responding to their child. Part 4 will teach strategies to help parents become more consciously aware resulting in more problem-focused parenting rather than emotion-focused parenting.
