 ECESF's Early Care & Education
Issues Luncheon
Engaging community, advocates, & leaders

Early Care Educators of San Francisco (formerly San Francisco Child Care Providers' Association) invites you to attend the ECE Issues Luncheon Event. Please join us:

Friday, January 25, 2019
12 – 2 PM
Earl Warren Building
350 McAllister Street, San Francisco

(Entry also located at 350 Golden Gate Ave.)
Downstair conference center, San Diego Rooms

The luncheon program includes a presentation on ECE workforce wages and movements toward parity with TK-12 by Lea Austin, co-director for the Center for the Study of the Child Care Empoyment (CSCCE), and a dialogue with San Francisco supervisors and the educational advisor to the mayor. This year, with a new mayor and recent elections, we have more new supervisors than usual. Make sure they know us!

San Francisco made a citywide commitment to the early care and education plan, including targeted equity services and pay on par with SFUSDs TK-3 to stabilize the early care educator workforce. We’ve passed the “ECE” Proposition C in June to add needed funds toward this goal. Come share stories and experiences that will put faces to the data — and keep ECE a priority issue.

Register below & bring a friend! ECESF has funds available to cover related substitute costs for early childhood center or family child care teachers to attend this daytime meeting. Seating is limited.

We look forward to seeing you there!
