August Chapter Meeting
Lighting the Kitchen & Bath After the Sun Goes Down

Do you want to show your work in the best possible light? The rapid rise of LED’s has revolutionized lighting design, and the old rules of thumb don’t automatically apply. Come learn from Denver’s own KBIS “Voices of the Industry” presenter Doug Walter, AIA, how, at very little added cost, designers can deliver high levels of illumination, which enhances visual acuity and safety, color rendering, appearance of the space and finally, the mood of the homeowners.

Learn how to develop a thoughtful lighting plan for your kitchens and baths that responds to client needs and budget, and gives them maximum flexibility to set the scene to their needs.  Review new research on light levels under different lights and layouts, and preview this session being prepared for KBIS 2017 in Orlando.  See what dozens of other award-winning kitchen and bath designers from around the US have accomplished, and take home tips to improve YOUR lighting designs.

Attendees at Doug's 2014 & 2015 KBIS sessions commented “great presentation” , “superb information”, “very practical and knowledgeable”, “great visuals”, and “best presentation so far”.
