The Nebraska Water Center’s Faculty Retreat and Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute’s Faculty Fellow Dialogue will be held on Tuesday, September 19, at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center in Lincoln. We welcome your participation in these discussions, as your schedule allows.
The NWC retreat is inviting agency and other regional water stakeholder groups so they can provide input to help our NU water faculty prepare the most relevant research proposals possible for federal, state and local agency interests. Participating faculty and stakeholders are invited to share a quick (five minutes) slide presentation with an overview of current and future research. Please send your slides to Tricia Liedle at pliedle@nebraska.edu by Wednesday, September 13.
The DWFI Faculty Fellow Dialogue will include an overview of DWFI impacts and outcomes, as well as an update from the leadership team and short presentations from a few Faculty Fellows. Your input and feedback at this event is welcome and appreciated.
Following the dialogue, all participants from both events are invited to an open reception at The Mill Bistro in NIC Commons for refreshments, delicious appetizers and conversation.
Please RSVP by September 11.
