Event Description
The pace of life these days seems particularly fast. The multiple demands for our attention and continuing busyness often feels overwhelming. We know that carving time to reconnect to ourselves is important. Yet, making the space in our schedule is challenging.
One way to recalibrate is to participate in retreats in the midst of our daily lives. By slowing down for a set period of time and practicing mindfulness with others, we take the opportunity to let go of the constant flurry of activity. We engage and experience the beauty of stillness in community. We come away feeling refreshed, our balance restored.
Please join us for a half-day of guided, silent, mindfulness practice and/or for an afternoon lunch discussion featuring guest educator, Donna Russoto, who will share practical ways of introducing mindfulness into school communities.
Date of the Retreat: November 11, 2017
Time: 8:30AM-12:30PM (please arrive by 8:30)
