ISBT Webinar - Cannabis Regulatory Summary

Bob Knight Join us on August 5 at 10 AM Central as Bob Knight of Chart Industries presents "Cannabis Regulatory Summary".

This session will include a brief introduction into the growth of the overall cannabis industry to include some history, key definitions, and ongoing regulatory issues. The main area of focus will be on cannabis infused beverages. Did you know that projections say that CBD infused beverages will soon move into the mainstream? According to Zenith Global, a major food and drink consulting firm, the U.S. cannabis infused drink market will reach an estimated 1.4 billion dollars by 2023. This represents a Compound Annual Growth Rate of 74.7%, which makes it one of the fastest growing segments in the overall industry. Learn about some of the market drivers, advantages, various product categories, and challenges of this new, still to be defined market. What is CBD and how does it differ from THC? Learn how regulations and compliance on the use of cannabis in the food and beverage industry have the potential to hamper growth of this overall market.
