Family and Community Development Specialist Training 2020

Virtual FCD Specialist training is coming soon to you.  Join us the week of December 14-18 in the virtual classroom.  Session timing will vary during the week. 

FCD Specialist training will equip you with the skills and capacities needed to work effectively with individuals, families and communities that experience poverty.  

We will:

• examine the history of poverty and community action
• learn effective community engagement strategies
• dive into cultural competency
• engage in goal setting strategies
• become trauma informed
• ask good questions
• learn family structures
• practice new skills

Live sessions each day, with pre and post work.  All registrants will receive a video with introductory information and instructions on how to get started.
