2014 Battle of the Bells
TEAM REGISTRATION FORM
The 2014 Battle of the Bells is a competition designed for businesses, churches, schools, and other community organizations. Teams will compete to raise the highest total donations while ringing the bell at Salvation Army Red Kettle locations across Greenville County, SC on Saturday, December 6, 2014.
- Last year's Battle of the Bells raised over $17,000 in one day!
- It's a great way to have fun while also making a difference! 86 cents out of every $1 raised will go back into the Greenville County Community to serve the hungry, homeless, hurting, and helpless.
- Competitors are encouraged to have fun with attention-grabbing antics such as wearing Christmas costumes and fun attire, dancing to Christmas music, and much more (where stores allow).
- The kettle at your location must be manned from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm or your team will be disqualified.
- Team leaders may determine shifts as they see fit in order to accommodate their team members. Please note that the number of actual bell ringers at a site at any given time must not exceed two people. Parents of children must be nearby, but groups of adults will not be permitted as they block the entrances of our retail partners.
- Teams will be recognized at www.salvationarmygreenville.org, Facebook, and on Twitter for their participation and the top three teams will receive trophies at the Annual Christmas Luncheon on Thursday, December 11th at The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center.
PLEASE NOTE: A representative from your team MUST attend the Kettle Kick-Off on Friday, November 14, 2014 at noon in front of the Westin Poinsett Hotel on Main Street in order to select your team's kettle location.
