How to be a Thought Leader for Consultants, Coaches, and Speakers

Thought leaders inspire others and lead change by contributing new ideas to the world. Some are also commercially smart and learn to package, capture, and deliver their ideas in a valuable way. In this workshop learn how to move from an expert to a thought leader and how to leverage your ideas to increase impact and your income. 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand what a thought leader is and how to become one
  • Learn how to move from being a thought repeater to a thought leader.
  • Explore six modes of delivery to build additional revenue in your consulting practice.

About the Speaker: Amy Climer, Ph.D., CSP


Dr. Amy Climer helps organizations increase their creativity so they can maximize innovation. Her clients include the Mayo Clinic, the U.S. Department of Defense, and Stanford University. Amy is the host of The Deliberate Creative Podcast where she shares practical advice and strategies to help leaders build innovative teams. She designed Climer Cards, a creativity and teambuilding tool to deepen conversations and generate ideas. Her TEDx talk The Power of Deliberate Creative Teams explains her research which led to an assessment tool used to help teams reach their creative potential. Amy has a PhD in Leadership & Change from Antioch University and is trained or certified in Creative Problem Solving, Immunity to Change, and the FourSight Thinking System.
