Gratitude Annual Alumni Reunion

March 10-12, 2017

The annual Gratitude Reunion is an established Pine Grove tradition. Gratitude alumni enjoy a specifically tailored reunion for that program. Pine Grove has hosted alumni from several countries at this event. During the reunion, alumni and their families reconnect with Gratitude staff and meet with current patients to provide hope and healing, while enjoying Mississippi’s excellent cuisine.

Schedule:

Friday

• 5:30-6:00PM: Registration and welcome at the Open Door Community Church (2180 Oak Grove Road)
• 6:00-7:00PM: BBQ and fellowship at the Open Door Community Church
• 7:00-8:00PM: Lecture by Dr. Jes Montgomery at the Open Door Community Church

Saturday

• 9:00-12:00PM: Opening session and workshop at the Open Door Community Church
• 12:00-1:00PM: Lunch at the Open Door Community Church
• 1:15-3:30PM: Sharing time with Patients at Gratitude (304 Emerald Lane)
• 6:00-8:00PM: Dinner and Alumni Speakers at Southern Oaks House & Gardens (1246 Richburg Road)

Sunday

• 9:00-10:30AM: Spiritual Send off at Gratitude

Pine Grove Giving Back

In lieu of registration fees for this event Pine Grove welcomes our Alumni free of charge and encourages a donation to the Pine Grove’s Spiritual Grounds. 

Currently, Giving Back is working to beautify Pine Grove's Spiritual Grounds by establishing a meditative labyrinth to further enhance our patient's treatment experience. Labyrinths help patients focus on a defined goal, like recovery, by offering a set path with a clear destination. Pine Grove's labyrinth will offer patients a relaxing place to concentrate on their personal path to recovery. Additionally, Pine Grove plans to further develop the Spiritual Grounds by adding a bell tower, chapel, fire circle, and water feature to support the healing process.
