This webinar is designed to enhance the knowledge and skillset of professionals working with family systems. Special attention will be paid to the clinical implications of COVID-19 and the family system. Through discussions, activities, role plays, and case studies, participants will gain insight and practical tools to use in session with families.

Who Should Attend:

Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Creative Arts Therapists, Marriage and Family Therapists, and any professional that is working in the mental health field.    

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will gain knowledge and insight on working with family systems.
  • Participants will gain knowledge of specific tools and treatment methods to use in session and modalities wthat work well with families.
  • Participants will gain an understanding of successful family sessions through case study.

About the Presenter


Saadia Z. Yunus, MA, LMFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist, motivational speaker, and community leader.  She has extensive experience helping individuals, couples, families, and groups, is trained in trauma, and gives presentations and workshops throughout the country. She owns a private practice in Deer Park, NY and is the cofounder of Muslimahs of Long Island.  She is on the advisory board of Dolan Family Health Center in Huntington, NY and on the board of The Barbershop Group, a national men's health advocacy organization. Born and raised in Bonifay, Florida, Saadia Z.
