Speaker: Heidi McLaughlin

Presentation Title: Ten Ways to Improve Your Requirements Elicitation

Presentation Synopsis: Requirement elicitation and collaboration are key responsibilities of the Business Analyst role, yet many BAs go into these activities on auto-pilot or perform them without fully considering aspects which can greatly increase the success of the analysis effort and the project as a whole. Heidi will talk about requirements elicitation and collaboration and ten ways to improve your preparation and execution of these activities.

Speaker Bio: Heidi McLaughlin is the Denver IIBA VP of Education and is a Senior Project Manager at PwC where she is currently leading a Lean Six Sigma project, a Robotics Automation project, and a Procurement Source to Pay SAAS implementation. Within her organization, she is a founding member of the BACoE (BA Center of Excellence) and has done training on requirements elicitation, diagramming, BPM and agile. She is a CBAP and PMP and lives in Arvada with her husband and her six-year-old daughter.
