Photography Workshop
with Steve Gettle:
Action Photography -
Advance techniques for nature photographers
Photogragh by Nancy Sloan
Want to learn how to go beyond simply making static portraits of your subjects? With today's auto-focus exciting stop action photography is now accessible to virtually every photographer.
We will discuss using just a camera and natural light to create stop-action images of subjects on the move, such as birds in flight and running animals. We will cover such things as, exposure techniques for action, optimizing your auto-focus system, acquiring initial focus lock, tracking your subject, basic camera trigger systems, other equipment and much more.
This workshop includes a special presentation by Steve, lunch, and over 2 hours of photographing time.
We are honored that Steve donates his time and knowledge to the Howell Nature Center.
