Why All The Drama? Drama Strategies to Support SEL.
Using drama strategies to support social-emotional learning and growth.
Earn a CUNY Certificate of Completion and CTLE Credit for Professional and Level III Teaching Assistant certificate holders.
Interactive Drama strategies such as storytelling, still picture and role-play are effective for modeling different points of view, building empathy, and exploring consequences within the safety of fictional scenarios and stories. In this workshop, participants will acquire practices to create space for an educational experience that combines emotional and intellectual learning.
