Interactive Storytelling, Part 1
Using storytelling to build emergent literacy skills, engagement, and whole group collaboration.
Earn a CUNY Certificate of Completion and CTLE Credit for Professional and Level III Teaching Assistant certificate holders.
In this workshop, participants will explore how interactive storytelling – creating opportunities for students to participate physically and verbally in a story– is a key strategy to develop students’ listening, speaking, and language skills, as outlined in the Common Core Standards.
The workshop will focus on:
Attendees will reflect on their work, give and receive feedback, and discuss further skill application.

Educators interested in exploring a new outlet for engaging their students.
