The main objectives of this course are: 

• Gain a clear understanding of the truth that pet loss and grief are real and have a powerful impact upon our emotional, spiritual and physical states.

• Become aware of the impact of mismanaged or denied grief and how to avoid such pit falls.

• Gain an understanding of complications that may impact their processing the loss of a beloved pet and similarities to the loss of human relationships.

• Gain knowledge to assist in debunking myths surrounding pet loss and grief.

• Counseling professionals or volunteers will be provided tips for guiding counsel for individuals and families grieving pet loss.
