2019 Materials Expo

USS Yorktown at Patriots' Point, Mt. Pleasant, SC

Join us for the 2019 SAMPE Carolinas Materials Expo event, bringing together suppliers and customers from the composites industry. The Materials Expo will be held on the hangar deck of the Yorktown aircraft carrier at the Patriots' Point Naval & Maritime Museum in Mount Pleasant, SC. 

Exhibition fees are $500/space and include an 8 foot table with tablecloth, two (2) complimentary attendee passes and parking passes.

Attendees can enjoy a tour of the WWII-era Yorktown aircraft carrier during the day and an evening of presentations and networking in the exhibition. There will be a light buffet supper with cash bar. 

NEW - Expo attendees are also invited to tour the Clemson Energy Innovation Center and the Hunley Submarine Museum Thursday morning before the Expo. The Clemson Energy Innovation Center is a one-of-a-kind facility featuring specialized equipment for testing mechanical stresses on wind turbines and for modeling the electrical grid. The Hunley Submarine Museum features the Confederate War-era Hunley submarine, which was raised from the waters outside Charleston in 2000 and is currently undergoing conservation. The two facilities are across the street from each other on a campus in North Charleston. Slots in these two tours are limited to 30 people and must be registered for in advance (the Clemson Wind Turbine Test Facility must approve all visitors in advance.) TOURS ARE SOLD OUT

You must be pre-registered to attend this event; admission & parking passes will be emailed to all registered attendees the week of the event.

Carolinas Chapter Golf Outing

Once again, the Carolinas Chapter will sponsor a friendly golf tournament the day before the Materials Expo. This year, the tournament will be held at the Charleston National Golf Course on Wednesday, October 23rd. Cost is $120/person with discounts for SAMPE members and students.
