Bring your heart, soul and passion to this unique specialized leadership training for the Head Start and Early Head Start community. Let the learning begin in a fun and relaxing environment! Now, more than ever, no matter what role you play in your agency you need to think and act like a leader. Our Head Start/Early Head Start world is constantly changing and every agency needs a “leader filled team”. Real-life challenges call for real-life leadership. This leadership experience was created to continue the legacy of our dear friend and colleague Vanessa. As she is no longer able to be the voice for young children and families who do not have their own voice, it is time for you….for each of us….to pick up this responsibility. This leadership experience will enable you to get in touch with important aspects of yourself as a leader…and to learn to be the voice of those without a voice. Because being a leader means first leading yourself and thereby learning to successfully take on opportunities and challenges in life. This is not a “sit and get” leadership training, as each participant will have personalized discoveries through self-assessments and then understand areas of strength and areas of growth.
NEW THIS YEAR...."PHASE TWO" Leadership Experience!
Have you already attended a past Vanessa Rich Leadership Experience similar to PHASE ONE? Then check out our BRAND NEW "PHASE TWO" Experience! You decide if you would like to re-commit and re-engage in your heart, spirit and passion in Phase One or if you would like to RECHARGE your spirit and progress into a new leadership experience by attending "PHASE TWO". Both experiences will support your personal growth and help you discover new ways to be the leader YOU want to be in a fun and relaxing environment!
Phase One: Leading With Your Heart, Your Passion and Your Spirit
Have you ever wondered what kind of magic DISNEY uses to keep its large and sprawling staff of smiley, friendly, and competent workers all on the same page ... and keep them all smiling? Contrary to popular belief, it's not the pixie dust. Disney learned quickly that internal leadership development was crucial to success. So, if you are looking to transform your leadership abilities then the IHSA Vanessa Rich Leadership Experience is for YOU! Come join our “living laboratory” for self-discovery and understand what leadership approaches work so you can take those successes back to your program. This is specialized leadership training for the Head Start and Early Head Start community. Now, more than ever, no matter what role you play in your agency you need to think and act like a leader. Our Head Start/Early Head Start world is constantly changing and every agency needs a “leader filled team”. Real-life challenges call for real-life leadership. TWO BOOKS INCLUDED WITH PHASE ONE:
Phase Two: RECHARGE! Lead with Renewed Energy and Vision!
This event is the “island” that you have been hoping to swim to!! All of us as Head Start leaders find our personal energies declining from time to time. This is particularly true in today’s rapidly changing, demanding and even sometimes accusing environment! Followers experience the very same drain on their energies. We all need to find ways to recharge our internal batteries in order to once again approach our work with enthusiasm and maximum performance. When a leader’s energies decline, this becomes an organizational issue given our high visibility. The opportunity to RECHARGE can be offered to everyone across your organization!
Come find the energy, vision and tools to lead strongly into your future!
This unique learning experience is designed as an investment in both you as a senior leader and in all those that you lead. This retreat has two goals:
1. Present opportunities for you to renew your energies…to CHARGE YOUR BATTERIES. You will leave with more energy and tools to sustain this increased energy.
2. Give you tools and professional development designs to enable you to RECHARGE THE BATTERIES OF THOSE WITH WHOM YOU WORK!!
Like all of your electronics that are battery powered, your personal ”battery” runs down with use. Unlike your most recent cell phone purchase, no battery charger is included in your current tool box! WE WANT TO CHANGE THAT!
Benefits to you…
The Recharge! Experience Does Not End as You Travel Home….
