Presidential Pioneer Awards, Essential Workers Edition
The Tourism Department of the Greene County Partnership is looking for “Frontline Heroes” that have given of their time and talents during the “new normal!”
We would like for you to tell us about frontline essential caregivers....from nurses, doctors, EMS, policemen, firemen, grocery store workers, etc. who have gone above and beyond the call of duty during the most recent Covid-19 pandemic. We want to recognize those that have given their all for our community.
The Tourism Department will be taking nominations for its annual Presidential Pioneer in Hospitality Award program from June 11 through June 29.
We need your help to recognize these community ambassadors. If any frontline essential service personnel have impressed you with their personal attention, take a moment to nominate them for the
Presidential Pioneer Awards, Essential Workers Edition
NOTE: Please do not nominate employees from your place of business because we want to draw from your personal experience as a resident. However, we will accept correspondence you have received from a customer complimenting your employee on special service.
The Tourism Department will select up to five winners to be recognized. A committee will pay a visit to the honorees’ places of business (if allowed) during working hours to present the awards, which will include personalized plaques.
