AIA EKC Building Tour - Southland Christian Church 

AIA East KY is pleased to offer its members an opportunity for continuing education in conjunction with a tour of Southland Christian Church's Richmond Road Campus, designed by EOP Architects.

During the tour, participants will have an opportunity to observe how a 140,000 SF, two-story section of the former, Lexington Mall, was salvaged for reuse and how the architects addressed the challenge of introducing natural light into this formerly windowless ‘big box’. A guided tour will be provided by Jim Cox, who serves as Business Administrator, and a short period for questions will be allotted following the conclusion of the tour.
