Identifying Children with Special Needs 

This presentation will cover developmental early milestones based on chronological age and environmental factors which may have negative impacts on development. Simple ideas for supporting students in the general education classroom will be provided but this is a separate workshop. By the conclusion of the workshop participants will know what to look for to determine if a referral in warranted to investigate special education. Participants will also be informed on who can refer, where and how to submit referrals.
