Katleen Allison is partnering with Challenging Racism to raise money to support the conversations and programs hosted by Challenging Racism to disrupt and end racism in our schools, communities and society as a whole. Whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps.
The purpose of this event is to bring ALL races together in an effort to educate people about the prevalence of racism and provide knowledge on how you can make a difference in your own communities. You will have 16 days (from June 19th to July 4th) to complete the entire 5K distance. Complete these 3.12 miles in memory of the lives that have been affected and lost due to racism. Run, walk, bike, swim, paddle board, row, etc – whatever your heart desires!
Just do it with a purpose!
Challenging Racism seeks to empower the world to disrupt racism, wherever they find it, through facilitated conversations built upon facts, stories, reflections, relationships, and the basic skills of listening and holding difficult conversations to bring about change.
With your donation, you will have access via Zoom to a special and unique online virtual panel where you will be able to participate in an open discussion on racism and ask questions about how you can make a change in your own communities.
You pick your location, and even your date!
Track your mileage (5K = 3.1 miles), and upload a picture of yourself, your family or a friend, as physical distancing guidelines allow, to our Facebook Event when you complete your run/walk by or on July 4th.
If you cannot make it but would like to make a donation, click here to donate through Paypal or visit our website at www.challengingracism.org/donate.lengingracism.org
Thank you for supporting Challenging Racism during this mission-critical time.
