Garrett County Community Action 

Head on up to Garrett County to learn more about the incredible work of the Garrett County Community Action Committee.  Founded over 50 years ago to aleviate poverty (one of 17 Community Action Agencies in Maryland and several hundred around the country), Garrett County CAC has been innovative in serving and improving the lives of families who are most in need. They provide a range of services including housing, business development, job training, and have been at the forefront of the 2 Generation approach to client services. 

The event will begin at the Garrett County Community Action headquarters, and then there will be a tour of their work in the area, ending with lunch. 

This will be a great opportunity to see the amazing fall leaves and the awesome work of one of CDN's core members.
