Both Phase I and Phase II of the training will be completed in this one-day training session.

Phase I (morning session): Hands-on training in a classroom setting.

Lunch: 30-minute lunch. Please bring a sack lunch and drinks. To make the most of the training time, we will not be leaving for lunch.

Phase II (afternoon session): Conduct monitoring procedures in the field under supervised conditions. Dress appropriately for the weather as this phase is done outdoors.

There are more than 400 volunteers collecting water quality data from lakes, rivers, and streams in programs across the state.
