Who Attends?
Physical therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers and all healthcare professionals interested in learning musculoskeletal imaging with ultrasound.
Objectives
- Develop MSK imaging skills for the upper extremities
- Demonstrate and participate in practicing scanning protocols for diagnostic exams
- Learn normal sono-anatomy in the upper extremities.
- Learn diagnostic imaging for upper extremities
- Be exposed to proper probe placement, patient positioning and scan protocols
- Be able to describe and produce “in-plane” and “out of plane” ultrasound guided techniques
- Learn ultrasound guided injection techniques specific for each region
- Understand the clinical presentation of neuromuscular dysfunction
- Demonstrate competency with MSK ultrasound guidance combined with dry needling
- Question/Answer time with faculty
