Adopting the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace — CCOHS’ Journey To Date

As CCOHS endeavours to adopt the CSA/BNQ Standard on Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, there are lessons learned along this journey. Join Emma Nicolson, Mental Health Group Project Leader at CCOHS, as she highlights these lessons and what will be considered to develop a greater awareness, compassion and action plan for CCOHS workers and their individual mental health needs. Emma will address how CCOHS looks toward developing a framework for other employers throughout Canada to develop their psychological health and safety programs within their own unique workplace environments. Tools, tips and reflections will help frame out the CCOHS journey to date.

During a break Andrea Connell will lead us in a Mindfulness Meditation exercise to experience how meditation can help you "deal with stress in the moment."
