Childcare:
Childcare for Here to Serve Sunday will be provided at the church from 8:30am-1pm by reservation only.
All Reservations are due by Noon Friday, April 5th by contacting Lee Fisher at childcare@lhumc.com or 817-319-2579.
Waivers will be required from any parents leaving the church building.
"Here to Serve" t-shirt - $10.00
- Same shirt as last year.
- If you need a new one please pre-order, gives us your sizes when you register on-line and pick up on Sundays before and after worship in the Great Hall.
Sunday, April 7th
Where is God calling you to Serve?
We will not gather for regular Sunday morning worship services and classes. Instead, we will take this opportunity to serve God as our entire church body spreads out into our community to serve our neighbors. Through projects such as home repair for the disadvantaged and landscaping for a local recreation center park, we will grow in our faith and show the community what it means to be the Church!
We need your help to make our Here to Serve Sunday successful.
PRAY that:
- Our members and community would participate in Here to Serve
- Our projects would go smoothly and safely and God would bless the church to be a blessing to its
neighbors near and far
- God would give us a growing love for our neighbors in our community and around the world
- SIGN UP – forms are available at church and you can sign up on line
- BRING – we are collecting things for our UMCOR* "Layette Kits"
Items for UMCOR " Layette Kits" Any donation accepted! (all items must be new. Please do NOT wash)
Cloth diapers, undershirts or onesies, infant wash cloths, gowns or sleepers, diaper pins (must have protective plastic closures), sweater or jacket (must open from front), receiving blankets
Financial Support - We greatly appreciate financial contributions to help pay for supplies and materials for Here to Serve. Please write “Here to Serve” in the memo field of your check made payable to LHUMC.
