NEW this year: Official Host Sites + At Home

3 WAYS TO PARTCIPATE

THE 2013 CONFERENCE OVERVIEW:
"Train Different."
This, the 11th year for the Heart Zones Conference, bring something entirely new to the health and fitness industry -  a better way for you to attend. This year it will cost less to attend because you don't have to travel and because the Conference is web-enabled. Next, you have the choice of how to attend. This high-impact, one-day, eight-hour education and workout event is presented by Heart Zones USA. The 2013 Conference includes workshops, workouts, discussion groups, keynote presentations, social mixers, and more.

Here are the Details:

  • Who Should Attend? Anyone may attend with an emphasis towards indoor cycling instructors, group X leaders, coaches, PE teachers, and fitness enthusiasts.
  • How to Attend? It is your choice and there are 3 different ways to attend.
  1. CONFERENCE CENTER LIVE: From Oakmont, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at our Cycling Fusion Training Center, this will be the live conference that will be web-broadcast to the Official Host Sites as well as to the At Home participants. You will be participating and part of the televised audience.Cycling Fusion
  2. OFFICIAL HOST SITES: Locations across the USA are joining the Conference remotely with a combination of live instructors as well as web-simulcast. This is the best of both using the net and having certified instructors providing you with hands-on learning opportunities. Your workouts will be led by a CHZT, Certified Heart Zones Trainer for the workouts and the keynote lectures and party will be a web simulcast.
  3. AT HOME: Participate from your home or any place that has an internet connection. You can attend the Conference as it's happening or watch up to the next 30-days at a time and a place you choose.
  • Where to Attend? Official Host Sites are in the following areas: Peachtree City (Atlanta), GA; Bellevue (Seattle), WA;  Boston, MA; Lakewood (Denver), CO; San Francisco, CA; Milwaukee, WI; New York City, NY; Rochester, NY; and Oakmont (Pittsburgh) PA.  More locations will likely be announced, too!  Specific site details are presented below.
  • What Are the Course Offerings? The Conference program includes three distinct 45-55 minute keynote presentations by Carl Foster, Ph D and past president of the American College of Sports Medicine (read Carl's bio below). Carl is leading these three essential lectures which are as follows:
  1. Training in the ZONES: How, Why, What to Measure, Monitor and Manage in the Different Zone Training systems -- Threshold, Max, Power, RPE, and other.

From the Conference Center you will be led by Gene Nacey, CEO/Founder of Cycling Fusion and the renowned founder and programBlink 2A Heart Rate Monitor developer of Heart Zones Training and ZONING Fitness program Sally Edwards.
  • What is the Conference Party: After the Conference, each Official Host Site will host a Conference party with all sites 'linked' together.
