2017 Farmers Market Forum 

Join us on March 1 for the 2nd Annual Farmers Market Forum.

This conference will be packed with presentations and networking opportunities and is geared toward farmers market managers, vendors, and community development stakeholders who want to start or grow farmers’ markets in their local communities.

The Farmers Market Forum is a collaborative effort of Purdue University Extension, the Indiana Cooperative Development Center, the Hoosier Farmers Market Association and the Indiana State Dept. of Health. The conference will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m., March 1 and adjourn at 3:30 p.m.

Indiana SNAP sign-up event will take place during the Farmers Market Forum from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM EDT.

Markets and farmers who are interested in becoming an authorized SNAP retailer should bring the following items:

1. Picture ID (driver's license or passport)

2. Social Security Card (or other official documentation with your name and SSN)

3. Copy of voided check for bank account you will use to deposit funds

NOTE: 

If your market is managed by a non-profit you will need to bring your 501c3 status paperwork.

If your market is managed by a government/local institution, then a letter on government letterhead should be submitted stating that the local government will be managing and responsible for the farmer market.
