Description:
After the fact, economic cycles are often defined by a dominate theme or themes. The late 90s and early 2000s cycle was defined by the inflating of the tech bubble and then its implosion. The mid-2000s was defined by the real estate bubble and financial crisis. When we look back on the current economic cycle, what will the dominate theme be? Identifying these themes ahead of time may help planners take advantage of current trends and mitigate risks during an eventual recession and market downturn. At this meeting, our presenter, Chase Armer, will review the current economic and financial backdrop and lead a discussion about the possible themes that may define the current economic and market cycle. In addition, we are also trying out streaming a live webinar so that our members in outlying areas can virtually attend. Since this is a test run, it will be free but if all goes well, subsequent virtual meetings will be the same rate as the regular meetings. No CE credit will be granted for this livestream. We hope to see you at this meeting! * This topic has been approved by the CFP Board for 1.0 hour of CE credit.
** Please note that this is a LUNCH meeting. ___________________________________
