Asking The Hard Questions: Conversations on Mental Health for Parents and Youth

Sunday Nights 5 - 7 PM

Parents and Students are invited to join us for three Sunday nights in February where we will tackle some of the difficult questions an topics that are facing our teenagers surrounding mental health. Rev. Lindsey Geist of Seeds of Hope Counseling will facilitate. Rev. Geist is a Deacon in The North Georgia Annual Conference and practices at Seeds of Hope Counseling in Sandy Springs.

We will begin with a light meal on both the 9th and 16th, before dividing into break out groups for parents and for youth. The parent session will be led by Rev. Geist. The Youth Session will be led by our youth leaders. On the 23rd, we will begin our time divided into break out groups for adults and students from 5 to 6 pm. From 6 to 7 pm, we will join together for dinner with a guided conversation between student and parent led by Rev. Geist.

Our topics have been selected from the highest polling issues by the families of our students.
