               Rural Broadband Connectivity Options

The pandemic brought with it many changes to the ways in which we operate day to day. Perhaps one of the most notable that is here to stay is the shift to virtual programming, learning, and workspaces. For those living in rural areas of Maryland where internet connections are unreliable or nonexistent, this year has proven especially challenging for virtual learning, working from home, and staying connected to friends and family.

The LEAD Maryland Foundation Alumni Committee invites you to attend this informative workshop on Wednesday, May 12, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Join speakers Charlotte Davis (Rural Maryland Council), Matt Teffeau (Choptank Electric Cooperative), and Bill Schrodel (MidAtlantic Farm Credit) as they provide updates on what progress has been made so far, and what options exist for bringing reliable, consistent internet access to rural Maryland.

This event is FREE to attend and open to anyone who is interested.

You must be registered to attend.

Registration will close on Tuesday, May 11.
