Invasive Species Blitz - Environmental Volunteer Opportunity 

Volunteer with the East Central Branch and Orange County Environmental Protection Division for an Invasive Species Blitz at Blanchard Park. Volunteers will assist EPD with invasive species cleanup and plant removals, tree plantings and educational sign installation.

Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the project runs from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Volunteers will assist with invasive plant removals, tree plantings and educational sign installations. Both sites have access to trails and amenities that will be open after completion of the volunteer project.

The event will be outside and involve manual labor, so bring water, hat, gloves and sunscreen.  EPD usually has a variety of tools to work with, but if you have a favorite shovel, bring it. Coffee and donuts will be provided at both sites
