Please join EWRI for a technical presentation with speaker Cammie Dewey, PE for a discussion on Emergency Authorizations addressed under the Statewide Environmental Resource Permitting (SWERP) Program.
The Statewide Environmental Resource Permitting (SWERP) Program addresses Emergency Authorizations under section 62-330.360, F.A.C. Cammie will discuss what constitutes emergency conditions and the three different options for gaining authorization from the permitting agency. She will also discuss the process of requesting an authorization from the SJRWMD and the information needed to accompany that request. The presentation includes information related to compliance with exemption verification/permit conditions, specifically during construction erosion, sediment, and turbidity control measures, as-built certifications, and deviations. The process of notifying the District during construction of any challenging conditions, submitting an as-built certification, annual inspections, and how to address deviations in the stormwater management system’s construction and/or function. Each of these processes reference forms, so Cammie will include a reminder of where these forms can be found on the SJRWMD permitting website.
