Whooo's an Owl?

Instructors:

Martha Gach, Conservation Coordinator

Elizabeth Broughton, Education Coordinator

2 hour training

No other bird brings such mystery to mind as owls. Owls are revered as the wisest of beings, admired as powerful messengers, and are the stuff of magical stories.  This workshop explores owl myths and owl facts, including what really makes these birds so special. Have fun making music with owl calls and exploring other senses as you learn how to ‘see’ in the dark.  We’ll even sneak in a little math while seeing how we measure up to these mysterious, wonderful creatures.
