Kitchen Lab: Experiments in Cooking & Baking

for Children 9 - 12 years old

Mondays 4 - 6pm - 3 Week Series -September 10th, 17th & 24th

Experimenting with Ingredients that can be Sweet and/or Savory

Cooking is always a creative experiment, or at least it should be. In this practical, hands-on cooking and baking class we’ll be working with vegetables, fruits and grains that can take on sweet or savory characteristics depending on how they are prepared. We’ll make custards, cakes, sauces, soups and much more as we learn to critically think about everything that goes into a recipe and what flavors, textures, colors and aromas each one evokes. No prior kitchen experience necessary just a curious mind and interest in cooking, baking and eating.
Please Note: We cook and bake with the very best ingredients we can purchase which may include gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy, fish & shellfish. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate for special diets and/or severe allergies in our cooking club classes.


 *Must have at least 8 registered to hold each class so invite all of your child’s foodie friends to join the fun!
