The rolling hills of Tuscany and romance of Italian cuisine come to life in this lively hands-on cooking class taught by Chef Deja Marrone Hart. Cooking and baking with her Italian family growing up, her classic culinary training and traveling to Italy with her husband who is also a well known Chef, have inspired tonight’s amorous menu. In class we’ll learn to make Ribollita, a Tuscan soup thickened with bread, Chicken Involtini with Prosciutto & Parmesan, a classic preparation perfect for company, and Torrone Semifreddo, an Italian nougat made with honey, egg whites, sugar and nuts folded into a frozen whipped cream and honey mixture - now, that’s Amore! We’ll taste Italian wine to compliment the menu.
