YMF Tech Talk: Bridge Engineering 

 

Join the YMF for our January Tech Talk! Don Nguyen, the YMF Past President and Mentorship Co-Chair, will walk you through the world of Bridge Engineering from design through construction. Don has six years of experience and is currently deputy-PM on the Marion Street Pedestrian Bridge Replacement Project in downtown Seattle.

Presentation will include an intro to bridge engineering, a detailed look at the Marion Street Pedestrian Bridge design, and a Bridges to Prosperity trip to build a bridge in rural Panama. 

Food will be provided thanks to HDR!

The office is near the Bellevue transit center for bus users and paid parking is available in the building.
