KBT invites you and your guests to attend a guided tour of the Olmsted Locks and Dam. The Olmsted Locks and Dam project is the largest and most expensive inland water navigation installation ever built in the United States.

The KBT event begins at the Dam site at 11:00 am CDT. We will have an opportunity to network, followed by a lunch provided by Ingram Barge. As we eat we will receive a briefing and update on the project. Immediately following lunch, we will take the site tour. Participants MUST wear long pants and closed toed shoes for the tour.
*For those that are interested, The Paducah Area Transit System will be providing round trip transportation from Paducah to the Olmsted.
If you are interested in riding with the group, please meet at the PATS Park and Ride lot located at 600 N. 5th Street, Paducah, KY 42001 at 9:15 am CDT. There is a mobile simulator in the parking lot.
If you plan to ride with the group, please let me know. We will be leaving at 9:30 am CDT so we can arrive at the project site by 11:00 am CDT. We do not want to leave you.
If you plan to drive directly to the site, please plug the project address (567 New Dam Rd, Olmsted IL) into your GPS or phone. There is limited parking at the site. Please keep in mind this is a very remote area and some mobile service may be limited.
