STEMulating Student Success through Robotics and Coding (9am-12pm each day) 

Campers will work in teams to design, build, and program an original robot to compete in a competition and challenge fellow campers. Campers have to be at least four years old to participate. No coding experience necessary. Camp will be on the dates mentioned above from 9am-12pm. Tickets include a Camp T-shirt, materials and supplies, and snacks.

Learning Targets:

  • Identify basic features and functions of the 123 Robot.
  • Develop Robot Rules and clear expectations for how to work with the 123 Robot.
  • Code a robot to move and turn to retell stories.

  1. Who should attend?
    Does your child like working with robots? Are they always trying to figure out how they program computers or video games? Do they love solving problems? Do your kids excel at math or science?     All instructors and staff have undergone a rigorous application and screening process. All personnel have extensive experience working with K-12 children and have undergone a Federal background check.

    1st-day: intro, basics of robots, safety

  7. Is this your first time hosting a camp?
    No, this is not our first time hosting a camp; we have hosted camps in previous years focused on STEM. This year, we have incorporated robotics into our camp plans.

      • A full refund will be issued, with a $75 administrative fee deduction per registration, if the cancellation request is received fourteen days before camp begins. 
      • A refund of 50% will be issued, with a $75 administrative fee deduction per registration, if the cancellation request is received after fourteen days, but at least two weeks prior to the camp session start date.
      • No refund will be issued for a no-show or for a cancellation request received within two weeks prior to the camp session start date.
