Please join us for this interesting workshop on how to do business with the City for businesses at all stages of development.

The City has programs to help small businesses at all stages of development - Ideas, Start Up, and Growth. The City’s five high impact programs for small business include the following:

• SBEDA: To Promote local small, minority, and women-owned businesses on City contracts.
• BE: Mentor Protégé Program
• Launch SA: City’s Entrepreneurship Center
• Loan Interest Buy Down Program: To provide access to Capital
• Small Business Development Fee Waiver Program: SAWS Sewer & Water Impact Fees

Our Presenter - Tanya Counts, Economic Development Manager for the City of San Antonio’s Economic Development Department. Tanya obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from California State University at Long Beach; and a Graduate Degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Las Vegas Nevada.

In addition to her job as Economic Development Manager with the City, Tanya manages Launch SA, the City’s Maestro Center Partner Agreement, Compliance on City Contracts, and the COSA Lift Fund Buy-Down Program. She is the Director of Corporate Services and Administration for Lift Fund.
