This workshop is for information purposes only; it is not to teach how to prepare taxes.
All taxpayers should understand the information on their tax returns, which for personal taxes include their civil status (married, single, etc.) and benefits, and why they are including or not including certain information in their tax returns.
It is important for every entrepreneur or business person to understand the US tax system, because it affects the finances of your business. This can include substantial savings on tax payments, as well as avoiding fines, interest, and even possible audits of the IRS.
Entrepreneurs (partners or owners of companies or businesses) must understand that the operations, income and disbursements of money they make, affect the company's taxes and must therefore, take appropriate measures to save on tax payments.
Topics reviewed in this workshop are types of taxes, various tax forms, e-filing, tax reports, IRS audits, and more.
