Alex is the President of ICS Tax, LLC (ICS). His expertise includes the tangible property regulations, cost segregation, energy efficiency incentives (179D/45L), research tax credits, fixed asset reviews, IC-DISC export incentives, and the LIFO inventory method. Prior to ICS, Alex worked for a decade with several Big Four firms, including Ernst & Young, Deloitte Tax, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. His specialized planning ideas has saved his clients millions in tax dollars. He has given Continuing Professional Education on a variety of tax planning ideas throughout the country. He is published in the AICPA’s Tax Advisor magazine and Accounting Today. Alex earned a BSBA in accounting from The Ohio State University, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, and a law degree from the Tulane School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. Alex is a licensed attorney, a certified public accountant, and a certified member of the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals. In his free time, he is a martial arts instructor in Judo and a volunteer for Junior Achievement.

Lacey J.S. Robb is the Pacific Coast Practice Leader for ICS TAX, LLC (ICS). She has over 14 years of tax and legal experience, which includes the Big Four accounting firms KPMG and EY as well as various law firms. Lacey specializes in the R&D credit and numerous other tax planning ideas. Her background in corporate taxation, M&A, SALT and complex tax issues allows her to provide a holistic approach for meeting client needs.
Lacey received her B.A. in Psychology and Juris Doctorate from the University of North Dakota, as well as an LLM in Taxation from the University of Denver. Additionally, she has taken the core accounting classes from North Dakota State University. In her free time, she is an avid scuba diver and participates in annual marathons benefiting cancer research.

Paul works extensively with closely held businesses in the areas of construction, real estate, and manufacturing and distribution. He specializes in corporate, partnership, and individual tax planning, as well as consulting on both national and international levels. He works with contractors and developers, focusing on tax-efficient entity structuring, banking relationships, and surety relationships.
Paul is a member of the Twin Cities Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association where he served as President from 2015-16. Paul also served on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Subcontractors Association and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Associated General Contractors of Minnesota, the Associated Building Contractors, and Minnesota Surety Association. Paul has been with Redpath for 24 years.
